It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mum, grandmother, wife and Practice Manager of Saltash Chiropractic, Marlaine on Sunday the 3rd November.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Michael, her children Jonathan and Joanne, and her cherished grandchildren Abi, Matt, Sam, and Ben. Marlaine also loved her foster daughter Tessa and her grandson Arthur dearly.
Marlaine was a remarkable woman with a deep faith who touched the lives of many in our community, active both in her church and several clubs, groups and societies within Saltash. Most recently, as the president of the Trematon Women’s Institute, she dedicated her time to uplifting others and fostering connections. Her warmth, kindness and generosity of spirit will be dearly missed.
While we grieve her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is now in heaven, watching over us. Her love and spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
Thank you to everyone who has shared in her life—your love and support mean the world to us during this difficult time.
We kindly ask for no flowers, however should you wish to celebrate Marlaine’s life in an act of generosity then please offer a donation to the Samaritans, a role she held for a number of years, or more locally to the Mustard Tree.
The Service of Celebration will be held at Saltash Baptist Church, Culver Road, on a date and time to be confirmed.
In keeping with mums wishes the service will not be a sombre affair but a celebration of her life.
Rest in peace, Mum. You were so deeply loved and will always be remembered. X
